A valuable suggestion scoffed at

In our democracy it is rather strange for our politicians and ruling class people to think out of the box for societal problems. But when a person thinks in such a manner, he is immediately scoffed at, even if he is a Governor or else a CM. Trust our rigid society which does not accept change immediately for that kind of treatment.
It was yesterday that Andhra Pradesh Governor, Narasimhan was giving a speech to police force at a meeting. He suggested that the police top brass should employ the services of Film Directors and Writers to tackle the terrorist threat of the country. His point was that these creative people think wildly to bring in some kind of entertainment for the audience and if their thoughts are channelled towards the ways of the terrorists, the establishment can be prepared well in advance about such ways.
As usual, the suggestion of the Governor was laughed at by the attendance and they scoffed, though in silence, about the proposal. That the Governor himself was of the force did not matter to them. The suggestion by the Governor was very practical and in fact the Superpower of the world, US of A employs certain writers to suggest the various solutions for a problem.
According to some knowledge, the American government has a propoganda cell which consists of film personalities like directors, producers and writers to advice the American government in times of crisis. To put it more bluntly, the US of A has devised a strategy, again with the help of Hollywood writers, of how to deal with the situation if Osama Bin Laden is caught.
Presently, India as a country is facing many security threats, internally as well as externally, and it would be prudent if the services of personnel of all kinds is utilised to devise a strategy to cater to the security  needs of the citizens.
