Surprised to see an honest man

Wherever we go in our country, we are accustomed to pay bribes and extra cost for our own material comforts. Be it avoiding a queue, or else getting favours out of turn. We as a society have learnt to master the art of giving and taking bribes (or as some would say, PAYING THAT EXTRA COST).

But when a person, accustomed to get things out of turn, encounters an honest man who wants to go by the rulebook and just do the things which are required to be done, the first reaction would be, “Are you for real?”.

The enforcer of the law appears as a weirdo for that customer who is accustomed to the ways of the society. Not even for once does he appreciate the enforcer of law that he is doing a good job but rather would abuse him and say that he has caused him discomfort.
Sad but true, the state of affairs is such that in our country that people are becoming that restless and want everything to go in their own terms and conditions. They ultimately want that their wish be implemented at whatever extra cost it might take. “I’m willing to pay that extra thing to you.
And if the law enforcer refuses his offer the reaction would be, “If people were like you, then India would have been developed a long ago.”
If I were at the receiving end, I would retort, “What to do? India is filled up with people like you. That is why the country is in shambles.”
Have you ever seen an honest man who refuses? I would be surprised to see one.
Cheers and Love
